FIRE/EMS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY CITY OF JACKSONVILLE
Overview
The Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for fire code enforcement, plan reviews, inspections, along with providing fire prevention and life safety programs to the community. Other responsiblities include those of the Emergency Manager along with managing the radio communication system in the City.
The Fire Marshal's Office is comprised of 2 personnel: the Fire Marshal and the Deputy Fire Marshal.
The area serviced is the City of Jacksonville Beach which ranges from the Atlantic Ocean on the east to the Intracoastal Waterway on the west, and from Neptune Beach city limit on the north to the St. Johns County line on the south. It is approximately 8 square miles covering approximately 23,000 residents.
