If you believe that your parking citation was issued in error, you have the right to contest the citation. Parking citations may be contested for a variety of reasons.
Court Hearing
You may request a court hearing for your parking citation within 30 days of issue. To set a hearing contact the Duval County Clerk of Courts directly and in person at the beach branch office:

Citation Review Request
The city will review your parking citation if the citation was issued in error, incorrectly or if the location of the violation is in need of repairs.
A Citation Review must be requested within ten (10) days from the date the citation was issued. You may submit your request on line, elect to appear in person, or mail your review request to the Parking Services Office.

Instructions for Citation Review Form:
If all the criteria have been met, your appeal will be assigned to a review officer. During the process late fees will be temporarily suspended. Your review will take time to process. At the end of the review you will be notified of the outcome.
