The Records Section of the Jacksonville Beach Police Department handles payments of municipal citations, fingerprinting services, and all requests for records of occurrences within the City of Jacksonville Beach.
This office is committed to upholding the standards of CALEA and ensuring full compliance with Florida Statute 119, governing the release of records.
Records personnel provide local Jacksonville Beach background checks, copies of traffic crash reports and offense reports, accept payments of animal and parking citations, and provide fingerprinting services for concealed weapons permits only.

Request for Records

Records requests may be made in person or by mail. All mail requests must be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope, payment, and requester’s contact information. Florida Statute 119 mandates that certain fess may apply. Records are not available for immediate release, and, therefore, requests for records may take up to 7 business days to process. Only CASH, CHECKS, OR CASHIER’S CHECKS are accepted. |

Traffic Citation
Traffic Citations must be paid to the address listed on the citation.

Fingerprinting Services
Fingerprinting is done for Concealed Weapons Permits only. The cost is $10.00 for each Livescan fingerprinting submittal.
Customers must go to the FDLE website listed in the concealed weapons application packet to pay for processing in advance.
