Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

The City of Jacksonville Beach is pleased to announce it's second Jazz Concert for the summer. We are sure you will enjoy the lineup!

OPENING ACT: Skyler Nolar starts at 5:00 PM - 6 PM

Back by popular demand. This young artist is hitting it big! He was selected as one of only two saxophone players in the country to be going to Grammy Camp last summer in L.A.  and had the opportunity to mingle with all the other singers, songwriters, production students and instrumentalists. His dynamic music will get you up out of your chairs.

MIDDLE ACT: Paula Atherton starts at 6:16 PM - 7:15 PM

Some contemporary jazz artists just seem to carry a very valid “can’t miss” aura about them. The lovely and talented saxtress/vocalist Paula Atherton is certainly one of them. Out with her fifth release, Shake It, she does, in fact, shake up the groove, the soul, and just plain comfy vibes nestled in all c-jazz fans. Of course, if you’re a fan of hers, you have come to expect this as simply part of her beautiful and powerful music and character.

HEADLINER ACT:  Eric Darius starts  at  7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Eric Darius, is an American saxophonist, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and educator.  Since 2000, he has recorded as a leader for labels ranging from Blue Note and Higher Octave Music to Shanachie and Narada, all of which made the jazz album charts. The title track to 2008's Goin' All Out topped the smooth jazz charts. His styles are Smooth Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Crossover Jazz, Jazz Instrument and Saxophone Jazz.

You will need to get there early to save yourself a spot. We guarantee it will be packed with music lovers!  NO PETS ALLOWED
