Hazardous Waste & E-Waste Mobile Collection Event

The City of Jacksonville Beach is hosting a Hazardous Waste & E-Waste Mobile Collection Event in Jacksonville Beach on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 9am-3pm.  Complimentary paper shredding services will also be available, on-site, from 9am-noon.  The event will be held at the City's Operations & Maintenance facility located at 1460-A Shetter Avenue.  For more information, click here.

Golf Course Set to Close for Improvement Project

The Jacksonville Beach Golf Club will be closed beginning Monday, January 15, 2018, until Fall 2018 for the Golf Course Improvement Project.  During this time, the Driving Range will remain open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Utility Scam Alert

Utility customers have reported receiving unsolicited phone calls regarding past due bills and disconnection of service.  The caller demands immediate payment through a pre-paid debit card.  Tips to follow:  Do Not make any payment to anonymous callers and try to get the caller's name and phone number.  Report SCAM phone calls to the police department and contact Beaches Energy Services emergency phone number (904) 247-6171.
