Employment Opportunities at Jacksonville Beach Fire Department

Career firefighters at the Jacksonville Beach Fire Department work a California Roll shift schedule. Requirements include:

  • Being certified in the State of Florida as both a Firefighter and EMT
  • Submitting a copy of your First Coast Technical College Firefighter/Medical Skills Ability test with minimum passing scores
  • Possessing a valid and appropriate Florida driver's license
  • This position is also subject to certification to wear respiratory equipment
