League Play

Jacksonville Beach Tennis Center has men’s, morning ladies, working women’s, mixed doubles, junior, and senior teams at all levels.  Membership is required for league play.

Lessons Available

JBTC has a strong junior program for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. Also offered are adult beginner and intermediate clinics, along with teen clinics and private lessons.

Tournaments and Activities

JBTC is a fun place to play tennis. When league play isn’t keeping the courts full, the center offers round robins, mixers, and annual tournaments. The annual Iron Man, Iron Woman, Junior Senior citizen challenge Holiday Round Robin, Mixed Doubles Madness, and Morning Ladies Mixer have all been great successes. These tournaments and activities are not only fun but they help raise money to allow JBTC to transport special needs kids to the center to have fun.

JBTC Valuable to Community

JBTC’s staff, with the help of volunteers, gives free clinics to special needs children and others. In particular, the program with Alden Road Exceptional Student’s Center has been a huge success. These kids, with the help of volunteers and staff from both centers, are transported and given free tennis clinics through the school year. We end the year with a Tennis Carnival which is always a lot of fun. The local high school (Fletcher) girl’s team practices at JBTC. And a new program which began this year, a tennis summer camp was given to Carver Center (low income children). They seemed to have a great time; we hope to offer this again next summer. JBTC strives to help the community through the sport of tennis.

Tennis Center Rules

Good sportsmanship and proper tennis attire is required at ALL TIMES. Membership required for league play.
