Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

Phil Jackson’s high energy to always stoke out a grom has led to the birth of the East Coast Grom Tour.  A series of contests spread out from Maryland to Florida for boys and girls 17 and under to battle it out in the water, while making new friends on the beach.

Location:  SeaWalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza

Grab your lounge chairs and dancing flip-flops and head over to the Seawalk Music Fest.  This is a beachfront celebration of diverse local and touring musical acts at the Seawalk Pavilion. The two-day family-friendly event showcases the richness of the regional music scene as a whole and features mobile eateries, a Ferris Wheel, boutiques and kitschy crafts that call the beach home.

HOURS ARE: Saturday: Noon - 8 PM. and Sunday: Noon - 7 PM.

A 5K Run organized by the San Pablo Elementary Parent/Teacher Assoc. This run will start on the beach near the Lifeguard Station, head south, turnaround back to start.

Location:  SeaWalk Pavilion Lawn and Latham Plaza

All students, teachers, experts, organizations, local businesses and community partners coming together to celebrate education with all of the Jacksonville community and surrounding regions. Student driven questions that lead to student led projects in collaboration with teachers and local community experts related to STEAM (Science,   Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Booths include interactive STEAM activities, gained knowledge and skills, along with any artifacts that will enhance the experience of the attendees and community.

In its 36th year, St. Paul's will be providing rides, a raffle, food, game booths and a Rummage Sale in their Gym to raise funds to keep St. Paul's

tuition affordable. Open to the public hours will be as follows:

  • Thursday, March 21st: 6 PM - 10 PM;
  • Friday, March 22nd: 6 PM - 11 PM;
  • Saturday, March 23rd: Noon - 11 PM;
  • Sunday, March 24th; 1 PM - 7 PM.

DogFest is the national signature event for Canine Companions for Independence. Funds raised through the walk and festival helps supports the mission to provide highly trained assistance dogs to children and adults with disabilities free of charge.

The City of Jacksonville Beach is proud to host the 36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 AM.

LOCATION: Jacksonville Beach Softball Fields at Wingate Park, Penman Road South, Jacksonville Beach

CATEGORIES: Toddlers - 2 & Under, 3 & 4 year olds, 5 & 6 year olds and 7 & 8 year olds.

This is free to all participants. PLEASE BRING A BAG OR BASKET TO CARRY EGGS IN. Prizes wil be awarded in each category for prize eggs. PARENTS ARE ASKED TO ACCOMPANY SMALL CHILDREN OR TODDLERS, otherwise parents are to remain on the sidelines while children collect eggs. Registration is not necessary. Just show up and have fun! There is no RAIN DATE.

This loved and annual event Presented by the City of Jacksonville Beach Parks, Recreation & Ocean Rescue is celetrating its 73rd year. It is the City's purpose to make this parade an expression of pride and community spirit of the beach's residents.

Parade Route will be: Beginning at 4th Avenue North and 2nd Street, the Parade continues north to 11th Avenue North, turning east on 11th Avenue North to 1st Street North and continue south on 1st Street to Beach Boulevard.

FEES & FORMS:  The official “Beaches Festival Parade Entry Form’ must be completed in full and returned to the Parks & Recreation Department, along with your Entry Fee of $ 200.00.  No charge for non-profit/non-commercial organizations.
