The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

The Jax Beach Fitness Festival is an annual gathering of fitness competitions, fitness industry leaders, and fitness fun. This event is free to the public and will showcase the latest products and services from the health and fitness industry, as well as products and services from our local Jax Beach business community.

Festival elements will include 25 exhibitor booths, a food court, and three workout areas throughout the venue all designed to create a competitive platform for registered athletes to compete and spectators to cheer them on.

Trunk or Treat - Halloween Food Truck Rally

Free Admission - Family Friendly

Bring your candy buckets and Trick-or-Treat early at Jacksonville Beach's first annual Food Truck or Treat event! Food Trucks from Georgia will be coming down to Jacksonville Beach to go head-to-head with Florida Food Trucks to claim their titles! Will it be the Georgia Bulldogs or the Florida Gators? Come try their food and cast your votes!

In addition to the food trucks, there will be Candy Zones sponsored by different local businesses and companies. Each Candy Zone will have free candy given to those who stop by - No matter what your age!

Walk down the Craft Vendor Isle of over 30 vendors......You just may find something you've been looking for! From jewelry and soaps to company services and more!

What's Halloween without dressing up in costume?! Come dressed and enter the costume contest! There will be a costume contest for Kids (17 and under) and one for the Adults (18 and up). Sign up at the "Food Truck Eats Jax" table!

Let the kids have fun in the Kid Zone! Kids of all ages will have tons of fun with the different activities that will be available for them to do! ($5 per child for unlimited play!)

Each food truck will be creating a small portion of a Halloween-Themed dish. Each one of these dishes will be judged by a panel of expert judges!

The Community Symphony concert has been rescheduled from Friday October 7th to Sunday October 30th due to Hurricane Matthew.

The Jacksonville Symphony will host a community concert for Northeast Florida residents. Music on the program will include Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Opus 67, Antonin Dvorak's Carnival Overture, and Stravinsky's Orchestra Suite No. 2. Music Director Courtney Lewis will be leading the orchestra.

The Jacksonville Symphony is North Florida's leading music nonprofit offering live performances at Jacoby Hall in the Times-Union Center for Performing Arts and other venues throughout the area. In addition, the Symphony provides music instruction for youth and operates the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras.

Trick or Treat with Jacksonville Beach first responders.  Join us for fun crafts and games, prizes and treats for all!  Also, don't miss out on the piñata (lots of candy). 

The Kids Halloween Party will be held on Halloween Night, October 31st, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The event will take place at Jacksonville Beach Fire Station #2, adjacent to South Beach Park, 2500 South Beach Parkway.There will be several public safety displays set up for children and parents to see. 

This event is sponsored by the Jacksonville Beach Police and Fire Rescue Departments, and the Jacksonville Beach Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.

The City of Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport, City of Jacksonville Beach, City of Neptune Beach, and City of Atlantic Beach are proud to present the 2016 Jacksonville Sea and Sky Spectacular, November 4-6th, at the oceanfront in Jacksonville Beach. This event will be highlighted by the world famous United States Navy Blue Angels. The event is free and will feature two days of the most exciting military and civilian air acts in the world in an over-the-ocean sky show; a street festival featuring static displays of aircraft and military vehicles; simulators; recruitment booths; autograph sessions; and kid's area.

Join Better Jacksonville Beach as they present the Jax Beach Art Walk.  This family-friendly event takes place on the second Tuesday of each month from 5 PM until 9 PM.  Bring your family out to see dozens of great local artists, hear local musicians perform, and visit the participating businesses throughout the downtown Jacksonville Beach area.

Whether you want to show off your classic car or you want to admire your neighbor's car, bring your family out and enjoy the Jax Beach Classic Car Cruise.

At 8:30 PM vehicles in the plazas (and anyone else with a classic car) will file out to cruise 1st Street.  Even if you don't have a classic car, come watch as the cruisers show off their rides!

Red Bull Night Riders will take place under unique conditions . . .

The Moon and the Stars!  Each of the six north Florida pro surfers competing in this tow-at contest has the opportunity to capture big air, pull off their best trick and push the limits of their sport.  Spectators can capture the best view of some of the amazing aerial surfing from atop the Jacksonville Beach Pier.  Red Bull Night Riders will take place on Saturday, November 19th. This event is free and open to the public.  Come out to Red Bull Night Riders to cheer on your favorite local surfer!
