Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

Location:  SeaWalk Pavilion

The Jacksonville Sports Council will host the Spartan Race Opening Ceremony & Expo, a welcome event for the participants and their families of the Spartan Race North Florida Super and Sprint Weekend. The purpose is to have an opening ceremony and vendor Expo for the race as well as providing music and entertainment for guests.

This event is sponsored by the Beaches Leader and the Jacksonville Beach Recreation Department. 

Registration for the Sandcastle Contest begins on Monday, April 2, 2018.  Call the Jacksonville Beach Parks & Recreation office to sign up at 904-247-6263 or stop in at 2508 South Beach Parkway.

The City of Jacksonville Beach welcomes you to our 72nd Annual Beaches Parade!  We encourage all groups to apply.  Contact the office of Parks & Recreation at (904) 247-6236 or email recreation@jaxbchfl.net if you have questions or would like to request an application.  Deadline to register is Friday, March 30, 2018, by 4:00 p.m.  Be a part of this annual Beaches tradition!

Best Buddies International will be hosting their annual Opening Ceremonies and walk with intellectural and developmental disabilities. They are the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
