Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.


Sunday, May 21, 2017 - 5:00pm

The City of Jacksonville Beach is proud to present the 16th Annual Summer Jazz Series. This two-concert series is scheduled for Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sea Walk Pavilion. Admission is free and open to the public. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.

Their 2nd contest of the year, The Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) is dedicated to the sport of amateur surfing, to the operation of a program of amateur competition for surfers of all ages and abilities, and to the establishment and preservation of free access to a clean shoreline and ocean environment. It was founded in 1967 by East Coast surfers to promote, preserve, and protect the sport of surfing on the East Coast.

Florida Surfing Association to host the annual Super Groms! The Super Grom Surf Festivals are a “push and surf” program for beginner surfers! They are designed to introduce kids to the sport of surfing. Top professional surfers and instructors take the kids out after a quick safety lesson on the beach and a “pop up” instruction.  It is a great day for the family!

The Annual Great Atlantic Festival returns to the Seawalk Pavilion with an all new Country Music Fest. The only oceanfront seafood festival in the southeast U.S.The event is free, so come on down and enjoy music, seafood, and fun in the Jax Beach sunshine!

Starts at the Lifeguard Station on Beach Blvd. to Beach Proper

The Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Competition Team is hosting the 24th annual Jacksonville Beach Challenge. This event is open to all USLA lifeguard agencies in the United States. All proceeds of the event go to help supporting the Jax Beach Competition team for equipment, travel, and uniform funding. The public is welcome to watch such a unique fast-paced competition.
