Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

 Beginning at 8:00 AM this walk will make 4 loops from the Seawalk Pavilion and circle Latham Plaza.

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk (BBFW) is the number one walk in the country raising awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Proceeds from the Best Buddies Friendship Walk provide the necessary tools for people with IDD to become more independent and valued members of our society.

Jacksonville Beach Fest

May 20, 2017

The Beach Fest 5k/10k and Run/Swim/Run will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 8:00 am in Jax Beach, on the beach. The event is a fundraiser for the Volunteer Life Saving Corps Competition Team and will be managed by the Corps. 1st Place Sports will be the timing agency. Monies raised are to help fund the Competition Team in their Regional and National competitions, and for equipment and uniforms. Approximately 200 people are anticipated to attend.

Children ages 15 and under can fish for free. Enjoy Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and drinks along with Pony Rides, games and displays. Dunk the cop & MORE! Drawings for Prizes and gifts. Kids of all ages invited for other activities. Sponsored by the American Legion, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.

The City of Jacksonville Beach is proud to present the 16th Annual Summer Jazz Series. This two-concert series is scheduled for Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sea Walk Pavilion. Admission is free and open to the public. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.

Their 2nd contest of the year, The Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) is dedicated to the sport of amateur surfing, to the operation of a program of amateur competition for surfers of all ages and abilities, and to the establishment and preservation of free access to a clean shoreline and ocean environment. It was founded in 1967 by East Coast surfers to promote, preserve, and protect the sport of surfing on the East Coast.
