Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, the governing body of a local government may provide a schedule of reasonable fees. The fees collected shall be used solely for carrying out the City's responsibilities in enforcing the Florida Building Code. Pursuant to Florida Statute 553.80(7), by December 31st of each calendar year, the governing body of a local government that provides a schedule of fees shall post a permit and inspection utilization report on its website.
