Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

Location:  SeaWalk Pavilion

The last movie of the year to be shown at the Seawalk Pavilion. Hocus Pocus is about three witches who vow to return to Salem 300 years after their death on Halloween to exact their revenge. A skeptical, newly transplanted Californian, Max, explores the ruins of the legendary witches house and dares the witches to manifest themselves. Disregarding the warnings of his sister and girlfriend, Max lights the Candle of Black Flame. With that, the witches reappear to wreak havoc on the town. The kids take off with the witches spellbook.

This intense fitness event will be held at the Sealwalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza offfering fitness teams to to see who is best and the various contests. There will also be a 100 meter swim. They will have available apparel, equipment vendors, and music.

This event is designed to give the kids the opportunity to enjoy surfing, paddleboarding, music, beach games, interactive exhibits, giveaways and more.

The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville will be hosting its 16th annual event at the Seawalk Pavilion that wil include a 1 mile walk on the beach. This family friendly event will feature activities for everyone to enjoy.


In 1989, the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville was founded by a handful of families who recognized the need to have a support group in the Jacksonville community. The focus was, and continues to be, to provide awareness and education and to help individuals with Down syndrome reach their potential.

Over 200 of the Southeast’s top Pros and Amateurs gather for a weekend of fun and rivalry as they vye for thousands of dollars in cash, prizes, and the trademark balsawood trophies. The Beach Raffle raises thousands for youth and environmental charities and looks like a surf shop on the sand.

Right Whale Festival and 5K/1Mile Run.  The 5K run/ 1 mile walk will be held at 10 AM the morning of the Right Whale Festival along the beach in front of the SeaWalk Pavilion. This family-fun event raises awareness of the threats to right whales, and how we can help in their recovery. The festival will be held from 10am to 4pm and highlights local efforts to protect these whales from extinction, as well as ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education, and environmentally responsible adventures and products.
