Additionally, payments may be made via mobile phone application, “ParkMobile,” so you do not have to stand in line.  If you do not have a smartphone, call 866-727-5312 to use the application.

FINES – Citations are issued by the parking company, SP Plus.  Citations are paid by visiting the following website:  www.citations.spplus.com.  All pertinent information is located on the back of the citation.

VEHICLES LEFT OVERNIGHT – Vehicles can be left overnight; however, if they remain in the lot when paid parking begins the next day, the fee for that day begins again at the designated start time.

HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACES – There are four handicapped parking spaces in each lot.  Per Florida State Statute 316.1964, vehicles with Disabled Veteran license plates, or vehicles equipped with specialized equipment such as ramps, lifts, foot or hand controls do not pay.  Additionally, if the license plate has a permanently affixed handicap designation, do not pay to park.

OVERSIZED VEHICLES – Per Municipal Code 31-39 (A)2, no vehicle in excess of 22 feet in length, or gross weight exceeding 10,000 pounds, is permitted to park east of 3rd Street between 16th Avenue North and 16th Avenue South.

DESIGNATED QUICK PICK-UP PARKING – 15-minute parking spaces are available for quick pick-up service in the downtown area.  These parking spaces are designated by signage and located on an adjacent avenue to each lot.

PAID PARKING CONTRACTOR – The City has chosen to remain partners with SP Plus for its parking contract needs.  SP Plus ambassadors will be present during paid parking hours and especially during peak hours.

For further information about SP Plus, visit their website at www.spplus.com or email SP Plus at jaxbeachparking@spplus.com.  Additionally, SP Plus can be contacted by calling 904-356-9841.  Contact information is posted near each pay-kiosk.

If you have an issue making contact with SP Plus, please call Parking Enforcement Coordinator Dan Fox at 904-247-4004, or email dfox@jaxbchfl.net.

RESIDENT REGISTRATION – Free parking is available to residents that live within the city limits of the City of Jacksonville Beach; residents’ vehicles (license plates) must be registered through DHSMV to an address inside these city limits.

In order to qualify for this free parking benefit, residents must submit a request either in person or on-line.  In-person requests are received at the Jacksonville Beach Police Department (Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.) or at Utility Billing in City Hall (Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.).  Online requests are available by clicking here or copying and pasting this link into your browser: http://www.jacksonvillebeach.org/government/departments/police/services-division/parking/residential-parking-program.

The registration process could take up to 14 business days in order to verify license plate information and residency, and to input into the system.  Once the registration process is complete, an e-mail confirmation will be sent.  If the license plate is not registered to an address within the city limits, an email notification will be sent.

* If you registered your vehicle(s) in 2019 and received confirmation of your registration as a resident, you do not need to register again in 2020.

If you have an issue with the registration process, please call Parking Enforcement Coordinator Dan Fox at 904-247-4004, or email dfox@jaxbchfl.net.
