Road Closures:  

Downtown Redevelopment Infrastructure Improvements Project - Phase IIIC - Project 2

  •         Starting Tuesday 4/16/19, the following streets will be open to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY due to the installation of storm pipe at the intersections of 2nd St. South and 12th Avenue South.  Click here for additional information.
    • 2nd Street South between 11th Avenue South and 13th Avenue South
    • 12th Avenue South between 2nd Street South and 3rd Street South
  • Seagate Ave. (20th Ave. N.) between 3rd & 2nd. St’s N.- As part of the A1A Water Main Replacement Project the east bound lane of Seagate Ave. (20th Ave. N.) between 3rd St. N. and 2nd St. N. will be closed to through traffic for up to three (3) days beginning on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2019 at 8:00 AM. The closure is required to allow our contractor (Maer Construction, LLC) sufficient time to directional drill a new 8” FPVC (DR18) water main under A1A (3rd St. N) at Seagate Ave. (20th St. N.).

  • Beach Blvd. between 1st & 2n St’s N. As part of our Downtown Redevelopment Phase 3C Project 2 project the west bound lane of Beach Blvd. between 1st & 2nd St’s N. will be closed to through traffic for up to six (6) weeks beginning on Friday morning, June 14, 2019 at 8:00 AM. The closure will allow our contractor, Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, Inc. sufficient time to perform improvements to the existing COJB owned Stormwater Pumping Station.
