Dear Merchants and Residents,

The 73rd Annual Opening of the Beaches Parade has been set for April 28th at 2:00p.m. We want to give you some logistics for your planning efforts.

The parade route is as follows:

Saturday – All parking lots open

Sunday’s closures ~ see map

Staging Areas:  Three Quarters of the 5th Avenue parking lot , with a portion left for the fishing Pier;  the City Commons lot (lot just north of Sneaker’s); the parking lot between 3rd and 4th avenue and 1st Street North (east side of the Ritz).

These parking lots will be closed at 6 a.m. on Sunday, Streets will be closed at 9:00 a.m. Deliveries should try and avoid Sunday at all cost. Once the Police Dept. shuts down the parade area, entry into lots in the above mentioned areas and surrounding streets is for emergency use only.
