Find It All in Jacksonville Beach

The Blues, Jazz, Rock’n Roll, the Pops, and the Movies!

Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville will be hosting its 16th annual event at the Seawalk Pavilion that wil include a 1 mile walk on the beach. This family friendly event will feature activities for everyone to enjoy - games, food and music provided by a DJ.

Location:  on the beach, near the pier between 3rd and 4th Ave. N.

Over 200 of the Southeast’s top Pros and Amateurs gather for a weekend of fun and rivalry as they vye for thousands of dollars in cash, prizes, and the trademark balsawood trophies. The Beach Raffle raises thousands for youth and environmental charities and looks like a surf shop on the sand.

Rett Ride Across America is a 2,338 mile cross-country bike ride along Interstate 10, during the month of October. Inspired and led by KC Byers, a father of a daughter with Rett syndrome.  This bike rides proves to be a daunting physical chalenge, but a major accomplishment for its riders to raise both research funds and awareness for Rettsyndrome.org.

Join us for fun crafts and games!  Prizes and treats for all.  Don't miss out on the Pinata (lots of candy).

This event is sponsored by the Jacksonville Beach Police and Fire Departments, and the Jacksonville Beach Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.

Location:  SeaWalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza

Right Whale Festival and 5K/1Mile Run.  The 5K run/ 1 mile walk will be held at 10 AM the morning of the Right Whale Festival along the beach in front of the SeaWalk Pavilion. This family-fun event raises awareness of the threats to right whales, and how we can help in their recovery. The festival will be held from 10am to 4pm and highlights local efforts to protect these whales from extinction, as well as ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education, and environmentally responsible adventures and products.

This award winning holiday lighted sculptural exhibit using lifeguard chairs will feature music & a light show, stage projections, children's play area, weekend programing and concessions. The purpose is to provide a family friendly holiday event to the public and raise funds for the Volunteer Life Saving Corps of Jacksonville Beach.

19th Street Charities invites you to attend a Toys For Tots holiday charitable event at the Seawalk Pavilion on Saturday, December 8, 2018.  19th Street Charities, a non-profit organization made up of local Jacksonville Beach residents and friends, supports the U.S. Marines and their Toys For Tots program.

Welcome the U.S. Marines as they arrive at the Seawalk Pavilion escorted by hundreds of local motorcyclists, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

Bring a toy, participate in the assembly line to help load Marine trucks with bicycles and toys, and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The local Toys for Tots Campaigns are the heart and soul of the Marine Toys for Tots Program managed by dedicated United States Marines and local volunteers. Your Local Campaign is the best source of Toys for Tots information on how to give and receive support in your community.
