The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is now accepting applications for Class 51 of the Citizen Police Academy (CPA), a 12-week interactive program that offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement.
Participants will learn about every division of the department, take part in hands-on activities like ride-alongs, CSI crime scene work, and firearms training, and hear directly from officers about real cases and operations.
Program Details:
• Dates: January 8 – April 2, 2026
• Thursdays, 6:30–9:30 PM
• Location: Jacksonville Beach Police Department, 101 Penman Road South
• Cost: $25 (includes shirt, notebook, and activities)
• Seats: Limited to 28 participants
