Planning & Development

Overview

The Planning and Development Department consists of three divisions:

• Building Inspection Division
• Code Enforcement Division
• Planning Division

Together, they work to ensure the continued high level and quality of development as a key factor in broadening the City's tax base. New construction provides housing, employment, commerce, and entertainment activities for both residents and visitors to our community.

Land Development Code

The Land Development Code (LDC) contains information about definitions, site development standards (parking and loading, signage, site clearing and landscaping, etc.), supplemental standards (fences, home occupations, outdoor restaurants and bars, etc.), and zoning districts regulations, etc.
